2 Movies You Should See

On July 26, I bought a copy of Michael Moore's documentary Capitalism:

A Love Story and it really hit home what Levi writes about in his blog. You really get a clear picture of how bankers run this world with no laws to stop them and how important it is to stand your ground when they come to take away what you worked so hard for (i.e, your home or pension) and steal your life away.

One of the most shocking moments in the movie was when an elite bank executive whispered to President Reagan to "speed it up" and end his speech already. It really shows how the President is just a figurehead and the real power is situated at Wall Street at firms like Goldman Sachs and such.

Just recently Levi stated that the U.S. is not actually a country, but rather a company named The United States Of America and you can see how right he was when you see this movie. Another important message in this movie that Levi keeps writing about is that when the common people unite and fight against these elite bankers and corporations, we can indeed bring them down and defeat them.

A congresswoman in the movie even said "Never let a bank throw you out of your home with a simple eviction notice. Stay in your home until you are physically thrown out." Even if it gets to that point if you assemble enough people to peacefully protest, the bank and the cops will back off like they did in one scene in the movie.

Another movie that I think everybody should see is The International with Clive Owens and Naomi Watts. It's a conspiracy thriller about one of the most powerful banks in the world and how it funds activities including money laundering, terrorism, arms trading and the destabilization of governments. Even though it's fiction I think it does a great job of showing how banks play such a major role in shaping world affairs. In summary, take a moment to check out Capitalism:
