Brisbane, the NWO is starting...

Hi, all.

This is a short blog to tell anyone reading that it looks like things may be heating up in Brisbane, Queensland.

It's starting to become reasonably well known that soon we will not be able to ride public transport in Brisbane without a Go card - the electronic public transport debit card that is cheaper to use than paying money for tickets.

Oh, and as an added bonus, you can be tracked everywhere on the public transport system, just by touching on an touching off your Go card every time you board or disembark.

That is, only if you have registered your Go card. Lots of people haven't of course, but soon it will be apparently not possible to use a Go card unless you have registered it...

Which means of course, that everyone using public transport in Brisbane can be tracked.

Add that to the fact that new licenses will have RFID chips, as will registration stickers in the future, not to mention the black boxes that can be used not only to track your vehicle, but probably also control it or disable it at the whim of anyone who decides they need to do that, and you have a system where there won't be a method of mass transport around Brisbane that can't be tracked somehow.

Recently, I'm told, a woman was interviewed by Police because she had used a Go card to travel on public transport where a murder took place, and that she was therefore a prime witness.
The Police had accessed the Go card database to find out who she was, where she lived, and obviously, her travel habits. All without her permission, and in obvious violation of her privacy and rights (whatever passes for "rights" in Queensland, anyway...) She was furious and took it to the press.

For a start, I can't believe the idiocy of admitting that the Police had accessed these databases! Surely they didn't think it would not be challenged?!! But the audacity of putting someone through something like that, just because she had the temerity to use the same public transport on which a murder occurred is ridiculous. Of course it was played down, and now noone bothers anymore, everything's gone back to being nice and cozy baaa, baaa, baaa.

I was sitting on the bus today, thinking that there is literally no way I could find of getting to work or traveling around Brisbane without someone being able to spy on me, track me, keep an eye on me, or otherwise invade my privacy. Why do I have to put up with that? I've done nothing wrong to warrant this treatment, but it's as if I'm under surveillance just in case... Guilty until proven innocent? And this is a supposedly free, modern, enlightened society? Shades of 1984, the Matrix, and Fahrenheit 451, if you ask me!!
