Change of Pace - Enjoy!

by Lily de Cuir
(Near Byron Bay, Australia)

Hello Everyone,

I could rabbit on for an age about what's going down; the evil of what we are doing to our Australian cattle exported to Indonesia (I was in tears today and quite upset).

The bloody 'carbon Cate tax', pfft....

Instead, have a change of pace, listen to some good music.

GO TO - www.youtube.com

After all this time, I've only just realised the drummer in this vid is my son's drum teacher!

He is awesome and so is my son....enjoy.

Love

Lily

Organite...
by: Lily

Hi Andrew,

Glad you got yourself some organite. Monsoon is a really nice guy!

Had my car cleaned today and they found my slab of organite under my drivers' car seat, and left it out for me, thinking it had fallen down there by mistake.

They pointed to it and I said, 'I put it there, under the seat, for a reason'...

They looked at me like I had a slug coming out of my nose and I said, 'Never Mind'.....lol....

Cheers,
Lily

Organite
by: Andrew

Hi Lily,

I managed to get some organite from Monsoon in the half kilo bag. It?s quite interesting stuff really. He was even nice enough to send me another two larger pieces afterwards as he said he didn?t feel right just sending the first bag of goodies. I seem to get a few freebies thrown in here and there from time to time from people.

It?s quite interesting that most people are attracted to organite when they first see it. Some of them pick it up and have a closer look, but when they ask what it is and I explain to them what it could do or be used for, they just say ?yeah right? or nothing at all and put it down and walk away. Interesting because they are attracted to it, but once the left side of the brain kicks in they don?t want to know anything about it or reject the possibility of its workings.

Most moving song,
by: Andrew

This song moves emotions in me every time I listen to it. There is something powerful about this man?s music. He is from Oz and his name is Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, he was born blind and this is his story:

P.S. Lily, the orgonite sounds good so far, wonder what Levi thinks of it?

Feedback on Organite
by: Lily

Hi Andrew,

Good luck with making the organite.

One thing I can tell you. Last week I had a VERY painful throbbing near my ovary on the right hand side of the hip. Like a stitch. Except it was not muscular like a stitch. Now, I am very healthy, just get the occasional cold and maybe the flu every 3 years or so. So any pain or something strange is a big thing for me and I pay attention.

However the area around my right ovary is where I perch my mobile phone on my belt! (Have an organite button stuck on there now, as well as on my iPod).

Anyway I pressed the organite 'pillow' that monsoon spoke of in his post. Pain went away in 10 minutes, hasn't been back since.

Lol, when you get to my age, (I'm as old as a tree, just like Levi), any twinge or something unusual, one pays attention to, so it concerned me.

So that's just a bit of feedback. Oh, and another thing - I have a bit of organite on my back porch next to a succulent cactus, it's just sprouted again.

Maybe be nothing, but who knows?

Orgone
by: Andrew

Hi Lily,

Saving money on power bills is definately a positive. Not sure about this panel solar power business thats going on in Oz at the moment. Seems like a scam and if the solar storms can wreck the things its probably not worth it.

I have copied the instructions on how to make Orgone myself. Looks like an interesting project to take on. Thinking of supplying friends and family with it. Have seen some of the pieces made and they do look quite interesting.

Organite
by: Lily

Hey Andrew,

Sorry I haven't responded sooner, lots of stuff going on here, all good!

Here is a link to get some organite:

GO TO - thecrowhouse.com

Lovely guy in the Northern Territory, Australia. He is passionate about organite. Screen name of 'Monsoon'. Tells you how to make it etc.

For those outside of Oz, he ships it overseas too, if you want it.

I received 3kg for $100. Research the net and you will be hard-pressed to find a price like that, believe me.

Most of the Organite on the net is very artistic (nothing the matter with that) but artistic or not, it's still does the same thing.

If you ask him, he would probably send you half a kilo for nix. Read his thread above.

Well, things have certainly been a kit calmer around here, that's for sure.

Apparently it can even reduce your power bill by a quarter, if you put one of the 'workhorse cones' under your power box. I'll believe that when I next get my electricity bill!

Anyway, hope that helps. Let me know how you go with it.

Love Lily

Orgone
by: Andrew

Hey Lily,

Can you let me know how you go with your Orgone when you get it please, and any experiences you have?

Im thinking of making my own.

Anyway, check this out and crank up your speakers!
One band way ahead of their time. I found a video with lyrics so you can all follow what he is saying. Enjoy.

Hi Lily (and all)
Not sure whether Kate Bush had any part in Deep Forest's music or not, so can't really answer that one. She has a stunning voice though, and probably inspired a lot of bands that followed.

If you're interested, here's some Within Temptation. it's the sort of thing I 'normally' listen to. The music get's me energised in a 'different' way - and it combines all the genres I like. Their videos are awesome too.

Hey Josh,Twi and all...
by: Lily

Thanks for your contributions...

I for one, enjoy all types of music; hard rock, old time jazz, (1920's upwards, trad and modern), reggae, 'new age', classical, indie, Ozzy roots music, latin american, rap, hip hop, everything!

My son's friends sometimes are aghast that I play hip hop while I'm preparing dinner. They think I'm weird.

I'm 53 and have a 13 year old son, so they think I'm quite odd listening to 'their' music, cracks me up! I did a vid for my son the other night, dancing it up. He thought it was hilarious.

Bring it on...post all your faves...

Love Lily

Out of the river and into the forest ...
by: Twi

The uplifting thread sounds like a great idea. I enjoy a wide range of music, ranging from gothic-rock through industrial to classical. Some of my favourites, such as Within Temptation, Nightwish and VNV Nation may not be entirely suitable for the 'uplifting nature' of the thread though.

I do enjoy the music of Deep Forest. They combine techno 'house music' with the tribes of the rainforests.

Here's a 2006 remix of Sweet Lulluby - Deep Forest. It is certainly energising.

Alicia Keys
by: Josh

If you don't know this lady, she's been around for awhile...I would actually be surprised if you've never heard of her, but for those outside the US you may not have. That's the only reason why I'm posting it. Some people are music racial or have a particular preference and never get to her the beautiful music from other types of genre.

I've always been fond of her music and this is a song from one of her last records.

I think it's relevant to what we are going through and how some of us think. It's great and one of my favorites. If your emotional it will bring tears.

Uplifting thread...
by: Lily

Hello Everyone,

Let's keep this going as an uplifting thread for music or whatever. There is so much shit going down, we need to balance the positive to the negative, so please post your favourite uplifting music, let this be a personal sanctuary where we can share some good stuff.

Found a great source today for 'organite' (google it). This guy in Oz is passionate about it:

GO TO - The Crow House.com

You can find some beautiful organite on the net, very beautiful, a work of art, but it's beyond most people's budget. Try this guy if you're interested. He really wants everyone to have this stuff at a reasonable price. I don't think he makes any money out of it, just enough to cover his costs.

Love to all,
Lily
