China Oil Spill - July 2010

Well, well, well. Here we go again. Except this time and I quote.

"Dalian's vice mayor, Dai Yulin, told Xinhua 40 specialized oil-control boats would be on the scene along with hundreds of fishing boats. Oil-eating bacteria were also being used in the cleanup."

I hope the rest of the world is watching and realizes how stupid the US & BP's handling of their oil spill really are. Stupid may not be the correct word here cause the theory is that it wasn't being cleaned up or stopped on purpose. Maybe if there is enough attention given to this people will start to realize what going on or start to ask real questions like, "Why didn't we do that?"

The fact that China in less than 5 days has sent a huge response to their incident and plan on using oil eating bacteria, I give em 2 thumbs up.

Connecting the brain to the mind

Hi Josh;

In order to make a 'thinking' connection the 'brain' which appears to lay in the back passage of the PTB has to be raised into the head, a sort of 'poopdaleni' for any knowledge of the inevitable self-consequences and that's not going to happen is it?

Hydrogen and stupidity are the two most common elements on the Planet,however not necessarily in that 'Order'.

The big question is-'Can we save them from themselves, their own worst enemies?

China's apocalypse - food shortages

Having read in a recent blog about the food crises, I thought this bit about the China floods and how it has devastated farm lands was pertinent. Also, Russia has had serious farming problems with the excessive heat we've had recently. Can't remember the name of the US State (maybe Kansas), where 2000 cattle died from the heat.

This just reported on the Web: -
The worst flooding in 12 years is making its way to the top of Chinese slowdown concerns.

Beijing estimates direct damage at $21 billion-and-rising, according to China Daily. 7 million hectares of farmland have been destroyed and 645,000 houses have been toppled. Over 700 people are reported dead. 8 million (imagine the entire population of New Jersey) have been evacuated. 110 million have been exposed to floods.

And it could be worse. China thanks the new Three Gorges Dam for preventing floods like those in 1998, which killed thousands.

WTF !

Not sure about the disperants, I haven't had time to look into it more by other sources.

Now the WTF part...
When I posted this blog I quoted the article about the oil eating bacteria (microbes), look back at the original post.

Now I've went back and the article says it was updated 10 minutes ago and there is no mention of the oil eating bacteria. However, what I did notice was the change in tone of the article. Statements of inferiority like:

"We don't have proper oil cleanup materials, so our workers are wearing rubber gloves and using chopsticks," an official with the Jinshitan Golden Beach Administration Committee told the Beijing Youth Daily newspaper"

"China's largest reported oil spill emptied beaches along the Yellow Sea as its size doubled Wednesday, while cleanup efforts included straw mats and frazzled workers with little more than rubber gloves"

"Our priority is to collect the spilled oil within five days to reduce the possibility of contaminating international waters," Dalian's vice mayor, Dai Yulin, told Xinhua on Tuesday.

But an official with the State Oceanic Administration has warned the spill will be difficult to clean up even in twice that amount of time."

So his statement about the use of bacteria was removed and now you get this picture of oriental rednecks using straw and chopsticks to cleanup and oil spill. Which by the way seems very effective thanks to Web Guy putting me on to a video in an earlier thread. Other than that you got this guy saying they can clean it up in 5 days and someone else saying, yeah right.

I wonder how this is going to play out. Perhaps the Chinese did it on purpose and are going to clean it up quickly to reveal BP's fraudulent practices in this last ongoing disaster.

Maybe it's phase II and they are in it together creating more chaos. I mean how does this shit (sorry) explode anyways. Even a gas leak isn't going to start a fire or explosion without something to ignite it.

Maybe it's tied to chem-trails and destruction or atleast attacks at the food chain. Why not, if they are spraying farms or people why not hit the fish markets too.

Let's not forget all the earthquakes, floods, landslides, typhoons, and UFO's that China has been dealing with lately too.

This is like major conspiracy type movie material.
What do you guys think? I haven't read about this much lately so I'm going with the flow on this one. Putting my own 2Cents out there.

oil spill

I wasn't putting down the straw mats, WG, I know they are used for all kinds of things in farming and agriculture, even horses, cattle, sheep, etc.,...I was making the observation that the damage appeared so huge that throwing some straw mats on the problem seemed futile. it is a very heavy thick oil, unlike the BP tar balls and a what seemed like a highly refined non-oil slick on the surface of the Gulf waters.

Also, isn't it strange that it took months to get this thing under control, until BP came up with the money!!!

Now they have apparently "capped it", but we're still not sure....

Log on word SILICA!! Spot on for this topic don't you think? Considering the Chinese are using oil dispersant chemicals for their spill, it would not surprise me if millions of us get sick down the road from eating seafood!! Another PTB plot to rid the world of useless eaters.

Agreed. Seafood won't Shell as much in the future and people won't spend their Squids on it because they'll be Prawn to illnesses.

But maybe nature will cleanse them by next Springtime around Oyster.

China's oil spill

Josh, according to the news, the Chinese clean up is pretty amateurish. they are using straw mats and fishing boats, one guy has already drowned when a wave washed him overboard. Also some of the photos are pretty horrifying of people covered entirely in oil and swimming in it. It apparently has covered approx. 145miles of coastline, and one environmentalist said they are literally "using chopsticks" to clean it up.

I wasn't even aware that the oil company had blown up, which caused the problem. I am staying away from news, TV, media and other type of communications, too depressing. If I hear one more directive from the current administration -- I will shoot myself.

Sorry to correct you Eileen but straw has been used in the past to soak up oil with great success. It was even suggested by some oil spill experts and even farmers because it's also biodegradable right from day one to BP but they ignored in preference for chemicals. (Money in chems)
