Circles around oil spill

I turned on a news channel last night that has a host who tends to seek the truth as much as he is allowed so I proceeded to watch.

It was showing the first pictures/video yet to be seen of the oil line. As this host explained how the idiots (BP) sawed of the top of the pipe and created a bigger leak I grew angrier.

Then the host of this show had gone to the gulf himself to film the wildlife being effected. He was able to shoot some footage of oiled covered birds etc. and its heartbreaking. He was allowed with in 20 ft of personal but was restricted from actually filming the crews cleaning the animals.

Another thing that pissed me off is there are limited animal rescue because (u ready) its required to have one state, one federal, one wildlife and one BP official aboard a vessel-boat.

To me this is complete horse shit because civilians like me and you should be able to grab a boat and save animals. When animals are going to die or are on the brink of death does it matter who rescues-cleans them. Here we are months after this tragedy and only now are they releasing footage (by the way there is tons of oil pissing out) and still have limited rescue efforts.

I'm sure there are plenty of people lining up to help but the PTB wont let us. To destroy mother nature -planet like this makes me furious and if I could have it my way I would drown all these politicians and there families in oil, then set it ablaze.

I said I would look and I did. Here ya go, but the story gets thicker :)

The technology of microbes or shall I say nature's natural toxic cleanup system was actually discovered and used to initially, get this:

Microbes, Inc. is the founder and developer of Migration Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery (MMEOR), a process to increase petroleum production by injecting environmentally safe microorganisms into producing oil and gas reservoirs. The company developed and applied this technology of using naturally occurring bacteria in oil wells and producing reservoirs. Commercial applications of this microbial technology has increased oil and gas producing rates and recoveries, providing substantial added commercial value to our customers."

I've watched a few videos on this stuff and it's actually been tested and used in real oil spills. "We can find no negative effects from using this method and it seems to actually be beneficial."

I'm already seeing some naysayers in the mainstream media already. This and in combination with the haygrass solution to keep the oil off the shores would be a great idea. Even if it's just a start. What we are doing now is only making it worse.

I believe this technology is in possession of the oil companies themselves as well, so you know what that means.

They get the oil cheaper and we pay for it in more ways than one.

One Safer Solution

Now I'm no scientific expert, but I've been doing some reading and it appears I may be getting somewhere.

We've seen the problems trying to cap the pipes. We've seen the use of buoy's to scoop the top layer of oil. And we've seen the spread of dispersants that are harmful to the ecosystem.

Now I haven't been following this too much except for a little here and there every week, but there is another method of cleanup that uses microbes and other methods that will actually eat up the oil and create carbon dioxide and byproducts that are not only safe for the ocean life and the inhabitants but also beneficial.

Has anyone seen this mentioned as a method of cleanup that they are actually using?

Mother Natures Revenge

Something that keeps going through my mind is something that Levi blogged about.

Mother Earth is crying out in pain.

Massive oil leaks,man made earthquakes etc.,The mammals,sea life,birds and wildlife covered in oil.Dying horrible deaths at the hands of man.
How much will mother nature take before she lashes out?

When she does lash out who will be affected?

The people around the gulf coast have already suffered and lost their livelihoods.Surely the last thing they need is a massive hurricane season getting bombarded with oil covered water while the PTB are safe.

It would seem too unjust,wouldn't it?
Lets hope Mother Earth can find a way to punish the people that are really hurting her.

Help find the Tech to Clean Up

Clue: it exists as a ready-to-go technology and can be found in two places in the United States. It's not Over

I wish I still had the link, but I came across a video of someone trying to expose what's really going on and it was a video of oil leaking from a hole, but the hole and the leak in the video was not from the pipe that's been the primary focus of the leak and the attempt to seal it that's on the mainstream news.

Perhaps this is why there is so much of a delay and a distraction from what's really happening down there.

Not sure of it's legitimacy, but it gives you something to ponder.

When you think you have the truth and the whole truth, dig deeper you'll always find more dirt.

Money interests

Brian,

Our adversarial legal system is set up to protect the people who control everything e.g. the ones with all the money. That's what all the regulations are for, not to save wildlife. It's to make sure if something goes wrong, there is a representative of every party there to make sure who is responsible.

While we have a system that is handed to us by the PTB which we have no choice but to work within, we will always have this problem. Noone wants to take a stand and do something just because it's right. There has to be a committee to verify that it's right, first, then they have to work out who will be responsible for doing it....

I just pity the poor animals and ecosystems.

i live in Pensacola florida and we here are terrified of the little response to the oil spill.
not to mention what dangers may lie ahead with air quality etc. Our property values are dropping and I feel we may never be able to sell our house now.
I heard from a friend I saw the other night that birds being found are having their necks broken I find that so heartbreaking. It is more than strange how obama does nothing and how all the lies are being told and how people are not allowed near the area it does make you wonder what in the world is really going on. I mean am I living in an area that soon will be to toxic to live in and will bp help or bail out us homeowners??? May help come soon to our region

Rhetoric and more rhetoric ... time for action !!!

As a UK national I a totally disgusted at the rhetoric by "Pre-sident obarmy". This is an international disaster, every nation has a part to play in this ? to continually shove the verbal diarrhea and blame at the UK, what?s the man doing, try to start yet another war !!!!

BP is a joint international company ? America has a larger portion of interests than most of the other share holders. So first, let?s stop this constant whinge and get on with cleaning this mess up.

Like Eileen states, there are many, many people that would willingly venture straight in and do their bit. In the UK we have had our own disasters with Oil Tankers going down and saturating our costs with their poison, but unlike America, we the public, were straight in their helping the wildlife. I don?t think anyone would dare to stop us.

Every walk of life gave their time, their effort, their support. To sit here and not see any help or rescue to these poor creatures astounds us in the UK. Believe me, if a rescue operation was put in place and volunteers from the UK asked to go, there would be many ready, willing and able.

From Brian?s comment about the presenter not being allowed to film the cleaning of the wildlife, begs me to think are they actually helping or killing the poor creatures ? or is the toxicity of this mess more than just oil.
To be kept back if this is the case, just proves there is something going on that the public again is not allowed to see.

The Corexit dispersant being used is highly toxic and the EPA were forced into disclosing its ingredients. Corexit 9527 is designated a ?chronic and acute health hazard? it is made with butoxyethanol which has been linked to health problems of cleanup crew who worked on the Exxon Valdez spill. Newer Corexit 9500 contains a detergent that also is found in laxatives. So what is this going to do to the eco system?

I ask the American people, if you really care about your country and these poor animals ? get off your arse?s and get down there and do something.

Now is the time to make your presence known that you will not tolerate such deceit, to be treated like dummies, the larger the number the better, what is your army going to do ? gun you down. The eyes of the world are upon you, they wouldn?t dare, not now, not if your presence is large enough (god there is enough of you over there) stop waiting and get doing before more life is lost.

saving wildlife and real lives

Brian - I heard on the news today that there are over 30++ thousand people out of work in Louisiana because they can't fish the waters.

The talk radio host said: "why are we not using these people and paying them to go out and help, clean up the beaches, clean up the birds, etc....why is Obama doing everything he can to keep the people who are affected by this crisis away from the problems that are affecting their livelihoods". I couldn't have agreed with the talk show host more...and then I got to thinking about WWII and Normandy, and how all the little fishing boat Brits braved the North Sea to rescue our men at Dunkirk.

We didn't need the Navy then, and we don't need the US Navy, the government, BP and the rest of them to f**k up the works now. Send in the citizens. "Allons enfants de la patrie, le jour de gloire est arrive."

The French Revolutionary song..."Attention children of the party, the day of glory has arrived!"

The people living in the States suffering from this disaster should tell the government to suck wind and take to their boats. This is another Dunkirk!!

A boss of one of the clean up teams interviewed was at loss for words and couldn't understand the logic, besides being totally frustrated and more than angry.
