Yep, it's sort is like being in a Twilight Zone episode--watching the Sheeple board the train of disaster. Or a ship like in this Twilight Zone episode:

This episode always freaked me out when it would come out in reruns.

But I guess one of my questions still remain unanswered.

How come some of us are aware of what's up and others not?

Especially as it is becoming more apparent every day of what really is going on.

Charities

ChrisH - this sentence hit a nerve with me.

Cameron's Big Society, where charities are being asked to do the job of government, is I believe a direct result of Bernie Madoff scamming $60billion through his Ponzi scheme, from zillions of "Jewish" charities here in the UK and abroad. He literally bankrupted many of these "Jewish" charities, who then had to close their doors, along with Foundations, both personal and public (like Universities, Art Museums, private/public Collections, and others). I don't know how many of these "charities" actually provided food, clothing and housing for the poor, tired and hungry among the populations. I would deign to say -- NONE. Most of the charities, Foundations etc., were similar to Eli Weisal's Holocaust type organizations, supported Israel, etc., but also a large proportion of them were privately held Foundations, where Bernie was supposed to be making money for them, so they could turn around and make huge donations to "charity".

If you haven't attended a Jewish fundraiser -- you don't know what you're missing. It's a bit like the Mafia, they break legs, they shame you, they out you...if you haven't ponied up enough cash for their causes. I believe, these charities are now pleading poverty to the government (don't forget they get all their income, and even fundraising expenses tax free -- NON-PROFIT, after all), because the donors have lost their life savings, pensions, investments etc....ergo - no-one can make donations, since we're all too busy trying to protect what little we have left for our own families. Many times, governments even match a donor's contribution, and donor's also get a tax write off. Governments are looking for any way, shape and form of cutting expenses and raising cash. In the US, most of the arts organizations are supported by private contributions, in Europe (and the UK)art is supported by the government. Watch a crash and burn of arts organizations next, due to lack of money. I've always believed that Charity begins at home, and that's exactly where my money is going!!

When I first read about Cameron's plan, I thought -- THIS MAN IS IN A CABBAGE PATCH, WITHOUT HIS DOLL!!

Big Society Big Constipation

This is actually a reply to Levi's last few blog entries (late July/1st August), which have been real dung-stirring stuff. I've just read today's entry (1st August) and wholly support the Cunning Plan (via Rob Menard, presumably?).

This Big Society crap from Cameron really makes my blood evaporate, let alone boil. For some years I've been involved with volunteer work for a small rural tourist attraction. Everyone's a volunteer; no-one is paid. A lot of it runs on keen-ness and goodwill. Many volunteers occasionally put in a bit of their own money from time to time, because they enjoy the place and want to see it succeed.
Cameron wants everyone to do the same, to run the country, as Levi has already said. Tarting it up as "give something to your local community" is a bloody insult because millions of folk are already donating their private time and a lot of their hard-earned money. Many charities and community groups already benefit from the kindness of others without government sticking its nose in to tell us that we should be participating.

Levi's right; where is the money coming from to support all these Big Society ideas? Yep. From our pockets. They wont be getting buggar all from me, I already converted most of my savings to gold and silver.

I sometimes hang around the Conservative's home page, especially the Blue Blog (just to stick an oar in); it might cheer some people to know that the views on Cameroon's Big Society are highly mixed. The sheeple think it's wonderful; but those of us with more brains have already smelled the rats and there are a lot of comments from people who are seriously questioning the government's motives on all this. In fact, there are a lot of folk all over the Net who are pissed off at this Big Society stuff, knowing full well that volunteering has been a mainstay of many British sectors for years on end. The Comments columns of various online papers such as the Telegraph clearly show awakening minds amongst the dross.

Levi has already said in the past that we should expect a lot of stress and strain; without going into details, that stress has already started in our family, with son suddenly descending into unexpected deep depression. Not caused by the world's events directly; but I am currently looking at a very intelligent young man fighting for his balance of mind, who just a few months ago was completing a degree. He does read this blog but hasnt done so for a few weeks now.
I feel too shattered at the moment to try a visual healing routine for him; maybe a little later. Please keep fingers crossed for us over the next few days while he seeks help. It's this kind of thing that makes me irrational, why can't some of the miserable dozy sheeple suck this kind of illness instead of a young person who is keenly looking forward to the day when new energies are finally released to us and everything opens up for the better?

Sheeple v. Aware

Web Guy's answer to why we are awake and not the rest is simple and direct and correct, but I think it misses one critical point. For each and every one of us who has awoken, something happened that didn't make sense - something didn't add up, and when we tried to find out what was missing from the equation, we found that the equation itself was false.

I'm not saying that sheeple can't follow a thread of logic like that, but they probably won't, given that to do so means to question authority and that's exactly what they won't.... and that we do! For some free thinkers, the ring of authority is not enough to just accept something - it has to be self-consistent, it has to make sense, and it has to fit with our innate sense of right and wrong, good and evil, white and black, etc. If it doesn't get past our BS filters, then it probably isn't good for us.

Sheeple have had their BS filters switched off, from the inside. They have been so desensitised to BS by the constant barrage of BS in the media that they no longer can see it for what it is. For us, of course, we can see the BS in the media for what it is, and it doesn't fool us. That's if we even bother to watch/listen to it in the first place! Personally, I've never been that enamoured of other people's opinions. I like my own too much and have learnt that it's much more trustworthy.

So, quite simply, those of us who have awoken, did so because we are free thinkers who have made the choice and judgement to follow our own counsel rather than join the flock when we could see it wasn't going anyplace good...

My 2c worth. Hope it rings true to you. Actually, I think I can say it probably does! :)
