SHOW ME THE MONEY

I had seen Cantona's video on Youtube, based on one of my financial newsletters having a link to it a few weeks ago. I immediately acted upon it, moved all my cash out of two banks, pulled out a couple of thousand and put it in our home safe. I plan on taking out more cash today. I've added more FOOD, WATER, NON-PERISHIBLES, hubby has finally stopped calling me crazy, and got him to fill up extra propane tanks for our barbie. There is no room in our cupboards and closets for any more food. The veggie garden, where I had planted more winter seeds and veggies, unfortunately froze due to the unseasonably cold snap we had here in SAC area. I had picked the last of my still green tomatoes, and put them in a brown bag (advice of an Italian friend)to let them ripen. Hubby is now talking about paying off our mortgage - that is the only debt we have. My thought is NAAAAHHHH!! In the event everything goes South, or an earthquake hits, it won't be worth anything and I'd rather bankrupt the banksters just like they've done to us.

Sorry for being incognito, I haven't been well, had some kind of viral infection, flu-like symptoms...and I don't believe in vaccines. I also badly burned myself early October while taking a tray out of the oven, and the wound went septic. The Dr and her nurse compounded the problem with their wound dressing and I had a severe reaction to it. Mega blisters all over my breast and upper chest - I thought I had shingles, I was in agony for a month. I'm staying away from the medical profession big time right now!! I finally got rid of the problem with Aloe Vera gel and calomine lotion. That's another thing I have been stocking up on, medical supplies, aspirin, bandages, everyday things like that. Also, I read that one container of SHOCK treatment that you use for a swimming pool, makes X gallons of bleach. I wrote it down on my list, and I'm getting that today also.

Looks like these mishaps are a way of emptying any negative Karma away for you so your luck should turn for the better during times where we need all the luck we can get.

I took out my money a long time ago. My gma was right--better to keep away from banks!

Net Problems Anyone?

Hi all,

Tom, sorry to hijack your post. But as it's top of the list, thought it might get more attention...

I've made some comments on another thread re ATM failures here in Oz...see 'ATM failures by Lloyd' a bit further down the page on 'Your New Blog'.

Big problems here, millions of people can't get cash.

Also WG, I am getting no notifications of any new posts or comments at all. Plus normal emails I would get are no longer coming through, so I know it's no fault of yours.

Strange things afoot. Anyone else not getting notifications? Or is it just me?

Also the net is extremely slow today here in Oz.

Get your money out...

Take your money out of 'the bank'.

Put your money into a credit union. Keep some in cash in a special hidey hole at home or wherever. And some in Gold and Silver if you can.

If you are lucky enough, update everything you can, computers, TV etc, fill up your pantry. Get a new Barby. Grow a garden. Get to know your neighbours. Get to know your friends on this site, Levi's site, those who live near you...ask for their email, make contact.

Go on a holiday, coz our bucks are not going to be worth much soon. Use it or you lose it.

Time to think outside the box.

Banks - servants of the people?

If you truly believe banks are there to serve the people then you have missed most of what's been going on in the world. But of course, I know you don't believe that - it's just what it should be, and I agree. But that's never gonna happen. Banks only happened because the banksters saw a way to fleece people by promising to look after their money for them. Back in the day when money was real gold and silver, that actually made some sort of sense, but not any more. (I still wouldn't have left my gold and silver with them...)

But of course, we all know that there is no such thing as banks providing a service. We provide a service to them, in fact, by giving them access to our money so they can not only fleece us, but also set up all these fractional reserve loan arrangements to fleece other people to the tune of 10 times our original deposit. And we agreed to it because we didn't see it coming.

But you're right, it has to stop somewhere, and the best way is to draw all the money out in one fell swoop, so no bank can bail out any other bank. But the US Fed Reserve will just print more dollars to bail out all the banks, and the US will be in even more dire straits.

Interesting how the PTB have painted everyone into a corner, huh? Masterful, really. Here's hoping Levi's little surprises work just right and the PTB wakes up to the fact that we're onto them....
