Earthquake & Irene

Parts of this earthquake were felt by some here in coastal NC...I however didn't feel it at the time said to have happened, but I was up late the night before and swore my chair was vibrating for a second...I can't say for sure if it was related or what just thought I would mention it. I did talk to people that said they felt it during the day in different parts of the county though.

As for Irene, I've only just had my power back for about 8 hours or so after going about a day or two without it. Obviously there are a few downed trees and few still without power, but it could have and I've seen worse. For the most part everything is back to normal here. I can't speak for everybody, usually the beaches get the worst of it and that's probably what you'll see on the news and on TV.

I'm missing some shingles on my home and the wall leaked a little bit and the clean up sucks, and of course many people lose a lot of food if without power for extended periods so cost becomes a factor especially if you one without a generator.

Not much to share, but thought I would share my experience over the last few days.

Levi's Part 4 clearly mentions the Eastern Seaboard. I recall some other things being mentioned as well about New York....can't recall all the details though. And with a hurricane added as well, adds to the whole issue that Levi gets em right.
