is it solid?

Just managing to catch up with blog entries; really tiring times at the moment.

Certainly the big black sphere is visible; I have been trying to decide whether or not I can see right through it, in other words is there any star material/dust visible inside the sphere? If not, then it could well be a solid body of some kind. I notice this video was of some kind of image editor, so I can only assume that the person wasn't fiddling around with the controls and creating a black body on purpose.

Looks big but can't compare it with anything. Is it a black hole? Will have to go back and have a further look. Pity the second video has gone, I enjoy seeing these and trying to analyse them.

Very interesting but what is it???

Well, yes that was very interesting and I noticed the huge dark circle even before it was pointed out, but what could it be? There was at least one point of light (star, planet?) in front of the face of the disk, so it's either some deep space bubble in interstellar dust and gas (they do occur but usually not that perfectly circular) or it's something large inside our solar system with a planet or asteroid in front of it.

Whatever it is, yes, it's quite mysterious.
