IT'S OVER - THE NIGHTMARE HAS BEGUN

This entire site rips apart the PTB, the Bilderberg group (you know the people who call us Useless Eaters (I think Henry Kissinger coined the phrase) - and is more or less saying the jig is up, we're heading for Armageddon....and this coming from a business financial site.

But the really important paragraph in the entire essay (I urge you to read it all) is the one where he writes that the NSA has already told the banks that they now have the authority to come in and take control of clients' Safety Deposit Boxes and everything in them, and if any employee attempts to inform the public or clients of this, they will be FIRED!! Fortunately I closed down our Safety Deposit Box years ago, if you have one, I suggest you do it immediately. Like NOW!!

Food shortages

The supermarkets here are reducing the size of the packages, but the prices of the products are increasing!!! It seems that only women are "getting it"!! We've talked amongst ourselves, and yes, we've agreed the bastards are reducing the size of the products and charging us more for less. I clipped every coupon imaginable and went shopping today after checking out four or five supermarket and drug store flyers...made sure I got the best buys coupled with the coupons. I was at one supermarket, and it was one of those "new age, check yourself through" machines, and it wasn't taking the coupons, and the gal who helped me said: well when you have these many coupons you need to go through the regular checkout...and I countered: "so why did you install these self-check-out machines, and eliminate jobs, if they won't take the coupons, what's the point?" And she did agree with me at least that the whole process was redundant. Also, the job situation in CA is the pits, as is the housing market, both debacles in the extreme. Where I am living housing has dropped 50% from what it was in 1996. It is a nighmare for lots of my elderly friends who are living on fixed incomes and/or have health care issues and need to sell and move into retirement communities. I know of a couple of cases where they have literally walked away from their homes and let the banks take it over.

I also noticed that some department stores are not restocking shelves the way they used to. I was amazed at one store, where the shelves were half way depleted and my immediate thought was: "they are going out of business soon, they don't have any inventory".

But the stock market keeps struggling to stay afloat and the bastards in Wall Street keep telling us that the markets are going up!!!!!!! A pox on all their houses.

Yep, it's happening..

Hi all,

Never thought I would see this in reality, but I'm seeing some shelves in the local supermarket, empty. Not dire yet, but it's a sign.

One of my clients today, an elderly lady, commented on it also and she was very concerned. She knows something is going down. As we all do.

Yes, here in Oz we've had floods and cyclones so that will affect everything for us.

Please everyone, get your canned foods, batteries, radio, water, bbq, wood, torches etc. and prepare for what it would be like without electricity, mobile phones and the internet.

Get heirloom seeds..grow your own food.

Go to the Chemist and stock up on things for your first aid kit.

You never know what is going to happen tomorrow.

Please, be prepared.

Hello Eileen and all!

I don't think you are being paranoid, but rather practical. You seem to have the good sense to be aware of your surroundings. If there is one thing that has been further ingrained in my mind through this site is to be vigilant. It's unfortunate you have to lug around a Sheeple. But my family is the same way. Yet, I am the most financial sound of all of them and don't need to lean on them for cash. But I am the one talking nonsense and the negative one. Go figure...

Yeah, I wonder about people who spend time spinning their wheels daydreaming about jobs coming back. Sure they will come back...one day.

Now what I keep reading is that the food prices are escalating. And that unemployment has increased in CA. These are not conspiracy theories but statements of fact. See:

Although I think the figures on the EDD website are conservative based.

I have also had conversation with movers and they all tell me the same thing--people are moving out of CA. Their biggest percentage of business, actually.

But maybe all of this is just talk. :)

CA unemployment

Soccoro - couldn't agree more. Try telling my hubby that. He spends innumerable hours at the computer preparing very high level proposals to submit to the State of CA for very high cost projects, which I know will never go anywhere. I keep telling him the frigging State is bankrupt, there are no jobs, don't waste your valuable time doing this for the firm he works for (and who don't pay him for his time, putting these proposals together)...but he tells me I'm just negative and he has never been without a job (??)even though two of his biggest projects with the State were shut down due to lack of funds, and now he is under my feet 24/7 and I am ready to go postal.

He complained that I was paranoid about everything and to stop reading all these sites and stop the doom and gloom stuff and start thinking positive! I asked him when was the last time he read the paper or watched the news or even knew what was happening in the world. Currently he is still flying, golfing, watching his recorded favorite TV shows, golfing, flying and blah, blah, blah. He is too young to retire, so we are currently living off our savings, which are slowly being depleted because he lives life like nothing has changed, even though we have no income coming in.

Logon: Boston = strange .... would that be like in Tea Party, or does it mean I should toss hubby into the harbour and keep the tea.

Unemployment in CA is the equivalent of trying to bandage a bleeding artery with a tiny band-aid.

My concern is how are these people going to survive when the EDD train stops. Forget about jobs thanks to NAFTA. Anyone who believes jobs are coming back are delusional. Sorry, not being negative but just keeping it real. Time to make plans and not wait around for the GOV to help you! If you do, you will be waiting in a very long bread line. And your ration will be very small! Think Argentina and how they still ration sugar, etc.

Well, the good thing is some Americans will lose weight. :)
