Survive the Storm - Dance in the Rain

by Lily de Cuir
(Australia)

Hello Everyone,

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Levi, Web Guy and all contributors here at this site.

It's been great to get to know you all and share like-mindedness, when perhaps our friends and family do not understand our concerns. Thank you for all your insights, creativity, humour and open-ness. It has added another dimension to my day to day life throughout the year.

Been a bit slow here of late...thought I'd post this one for a chuckle...

Survive the storm and dance in the rain:

Sorry that you all in the northern hemisphere are suffering all that cold and snow, it must be pretty though. For us we have the opposite; cyclones, fires, sub-tropical thunderstorms etc and it's HOT! Nothing is perfect I guess, wherever you are. I'm going to be in the pool...

Merry Christmas everyone. Hang on to your hats for 2010! But never, ever lose your sense of humour! Perspective and positive attitudes are everything.

Much Love and affection,
Lily

Neda Soltan
by: Lt ER

Hi All,

Particularly Joe and Nadine relating to posts that do not appear in their logical places:

This happened to me to when I tried to start a new post however my post is there however not sure how many people have read it. I have just added an update to it however you will need to look for it. The title has Neda Soltan's name in it and is connected with a prediction earlier in the year and the Iranian elections.

Happy Reading

Your Mum...
by: Lily

Hi Amanda,

So good to receive the message that your Mum is well.

I am about to visit my 90 year old Mum in Sydney soon. She is on her way out and nothing can save her. I am of mixed mind about it. Her time has come and yet I think ...well, I don't know what to think...

I am one of those spending time alone. It's OK though, I enjoy time on my own. I had my son here opening presents today. He is the next biggest thing on the drums. He's got all the moves and plays the drums really well, he's a pro!

I had a great day today, hope you all did too.
Love Lily

Merry Christmas
by: Lt ER

Good Morning Web Warriors,

I have travelled home for Christmas and it is the first time I have seen my mum since she had her operation. I wanted to thank those of you who sent healing energies to her. She is far better than I had anticipated so I can only put that down to you guys. She should be back playing golf in the spring.

I hope you are all having quality time with whoever you are spending it with. I hope the arguments don't get too out of hand and you kiss and make up quickly.

Those of you who are spending it alone, in solitude and other undesirable circumstances; I salute you !

Amanda

Merry Christmas
by: Byron A.

Dear All Who Read This,

I wish you all the best and the ability to see the silver lining in the New Year and many more after.

Thank you Levi, and Web Guy for this site and the oppourtunity to be heard here.

And no, Madge I am off for 2 weeks this Christmas.
(Just got home this morning.) Partly because freight is drying up horribly, and partly because I want to spend some time resting and visiting with Family and Friends. And eating chocolate.

Take care,
Byron Alblas

Posting

Yes Nadine this is kind of frustrating to post something and it end's up almost on the bottom of the page. I tried re-submitting as WG suggested but it still ended up at the bottom again.

Then WG put a link to the blog on one of Lily's Blogs but that did not work either. The Blog was "Soldier's we all had the same dream last night" if your interested in searching.

I think if you post a new blog it should be at the top or very close.... hint hint. I don't know much about computer stuff so I leave that up to the experts to figure out.

But it just makes damn sense for a new blog to be at the top!

Okay anyway everyone have a great and Happy Holiday I enjoy reading each and everyone's blogs.

So let's finish this one off with a song.

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
The big bad wolf
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
The big bad wolf
Certainly not me!

People Power = Peace

Web Guy:

Hi. As I have explained to Joe and others. I have no control over where the blogs appear. None!
I have tried to do a monthly section but no luck so will try again for next year but it may mean deleting past blogs.

Xmas... Bah Humbug

Merry Cristmas
by: Madge from NSW OZ

A happy and peaceful christmas and new year to all. Hope you have a good break Lily.

It is hot and humid in Sydney!

I will wave to you if I see you. I assume you will be wearing the feather boa and double cigarette holder (:-)

I hope Levi and WG have a few good digs to send to each other. I would hate them to become complacent. Byron are you still truckin' over xmas?

All the best,
Madge

Hi all,

Nadine when you contribute a post tick the box that asks if you want to receive an e-mail when any one else makes a post and you should them be e-mailed each time so you have access to the posts as they come through.

WG can correct me if I am wrong.

I would like to say what a pleasure it has been to have this blogg in recent months and to chat with you all.

Thankyou WG for all your help and thank you Levi for sharing so much of your time and knowledge.

I wish every one a safe and peaceful Christmas.

Esme X

Web Guy:

No Problem.

System is on auto so any links will appear as you put them. You will have to wait until I edit before they become live and clickable.

But if you want to make a link live when you post just drop me a mail and I will show you how and it's easier than you think...

Make my job easier as well.

Meanwhile forget the politicians and enjoy your xmas. They are now officially defunk.

Weather Extremes - Canada
by: Nadine

Hi Lily and Chris,

Yeah, we have had extremes here as well....in the span of 10 days my city has had the dubious distinction of being the coldest place in North America and the second coldest place on the planet at -48.6C with windchill of -58.4 - to a balmy -5C or so.....today -20C again and by Christmas Day +5C....absolutely crazy....

Its been hard to follow the posts as the newest ones don't necessarily appear at the top, so I am having tough time sorting thru what I have and haven't yet read....

Take care eveyone and enjoy your Christmas...

Appropriate weather
by: ChrisH(UK)

Happy Christmas to all.....yep, global warming in the northern hemi has brought in plenty of appropriate weather; snow, ice, freezing fog, hail....as expected. I daresay Levi has donned his swimming-trunks up there in the bonny Highlands; a couple of laps round Loch Ness wi' the monster in balmy weather (oops, better be careful what I say!).

Joking apart, seasons greetings to Levi, Web Guy and all who have been guided by whatever kindly hand to this website and blog.

Web Guy:

Levi only did one lap this year. He's getting soft.
