Time - Welcome to 2011st year in the Gregorian Calendar

by Lt ER
(London)

Happy New Year Web Warriors,

I realised something earlier tonight after reading Levi's latest PB.

We have now actually completed 2010 years of the Gregorian calendar and we are entering the 2011th year. This time next year we shall be celebrating the start of the 2012th year... My question to you all is; Is it December 2011 we should be looking at as well?

I have not done any research yet myself, however our current thinking could already be a year out of date.I would be interested to know what others think.

Regards

Lt ER

Mayan Calendar - interesting
by: Lloyd

Thanks for the link, Lt ER. I'm downloading them as I write this and now I've found the next lot of vids I'll be watching over the course of the next day or two... :)

I think I understand the way you see years, but I have to defer to the definition of calendar years. As such the year 1AD was defined to have started on the 1st January 0001 (the AD era's birth date), and finished on the 31st December 0001, and that whole year was the 1st year AD but the AD era was less than 1 year old until the next (1st) "birthday" on 1st January 0002.

Likewise the year 2010 is defined to have started on the 1st January 2010 (the 2009th birthday) and to finish on the 31st December 2010, during which this AD era is still only 2009 years old. It still boils down to what we have been conditioned to believe and think by the media. You could be spot on in that the PTB have a hidden agenda of wanting us to get the dates wrong by a year.

Perhaps they think that if we expect something a year early we will be prepared for something that doesn't happen and let our guard down. On the other hand if we expect something a year late, we won't be ready.

I'm looking forward to seeing these vids. They look very interesting from what I've seen so far.

Carl Calleman and October 28th 2011
by: Lt ER

Dear Lloyd et al.

I had thought over night to send an email to WG and request that it not be published. Funnily enough, the other night I had a dream that I received an email from LT and WG not to send in any more posts as they were so bad.

As we can see I did not make the request and it was published. Am I glad it was published? I don?t like to think that I have left myself open to ridicule and I don?t like the insinuation that my thinking has been influenced by the mainstream media.

As stated, I had not done any specific research in the subject of calendars and the counting of time.

I have been thinking about my response for the last couple of days, as I have not been well. I do not think my position or point of view is necessarily wrong it is just a different perspective and way of looking at the construction of time.

My natural thinking worked like this: (ps I am not going to use my own birthday)

Say my birthday is 1st January 2000. From 1st Jan 2000 to 31st December 2000, I have completed 12 months of life and am 12 months old. Then on 1st Jan 2001, I celebrate my first birthday, I am said to be 1yr old however I it will be the first day of the second year of my life. I am not 1yr old the day I was born.

So in my world, by treating year dates like a birthday date, I am entering the 2011th year. But it also raised some ?what if? questions relating to 2012.

My original question was to try and find out if anybody else had thought that 2011 may be just as significant as 2012.

So away I went onto the internet and found some exciting stuff on the Mayan Calendar.

Carl Calleman, has spent years researching the Mayan Calendar and is putting forward a new date for the end of the Long Count as October 28th 2011 in the Gregorian calendar. He believes the Mayan Calendar tracks the evolution of human consciousness rather than astrological events.

In his radio interview he says he was expecting a rapid change in human consciousness however it is not happening as fast as he would have hoped. Even if change is bubbling underneath the surface it has not yet shown itself fully due to ?resistant forces?, not allowing the full change to emerge or to be delaying the change.

A radio interview in 5 parts is on You Tube:

Carl Calleman on Mayan Calendar pt.1

There are other videos on You Tube regarding this subject and it is not my purpose to list all of them.

Now I am not saying I believe everything I see and hear, however, I think this mans point of view is worth some thought. If you are on the wave, then your gut reaction will tell you to take notice of what he is saying. Part 3 is where he talks about 2011.

Is it possible that the biggest hoax being played on people by msm is the date 21st December 2012?

Just starting the 2010th year!
by: Lloyd

No, Lt ER, I think you have that wrong. We've only completed 2009 years. The first year was not the year zero, it was the year one AD. I know that these things have been tampered with and redefined again and again, but by definition, the last day of 2010 will complete 2010 years. Just like the last day of 2000 completed the 20th century.

I think there has been so much ill-informed hype about this topic, declaring 2000 the start of the new century, 2009 the end of the last decade, etc, that people just believe it now. Talk about power of the media!! This is a perfect example right here!

Web Guy:

Similar to why Levi's New Year starts in March at the start of the first sign of the Zodiac. Springtime or spring solstice.

Makes sense. Nature new year starts in spring yet we are convinced it starts in the depths of Winter on jan 1st... Brrrrrrrrr
